Founded in 1976, Desmond's has grown to become the largest independent provider
of quality truck and equipment storage in the entertainment industry.
With state-of-the-art facilities located in Burbank and Lakeview Terrace, California, we are the home to more than 1,000 honeywagons, dressing rooms, grip, electric, effects and various other industry equipment. We also provide services to the independent trucking industry
at our Lakeview Terrace location.

DON DESMOND
Few people have been involved in the industry as long as Don, who started at Paramount Studios in 1942 on Road to Morocco, starring Bob Hope and Bing Crosby.
Other big screen credits included A Streetcar Named Desire, Rebel Without a Cause, Annie Get Your Gun, Giant, Show Boat, House of Wax, A Royal Wedding, Superman, Carrie, the Stepford Wives, Bonnie and Clyde and Duel (Stephen Spielberg's full-length directorial debut).
His television credits included I Love Lucy, Make Room for Daddy, Bonanza, Barnaby Jones, McMillan and Wife, Columbo, The Streets of San Francisco, Wonder Woman, Roots, The Buddy Holly Story and
Elvis.
A respected transportation coordinator, Don recognized a need in the industry for reliable equipment storage and founded Desmond's in 1976. A journey that began with a handful of spaces in a dirt lot has now covered 11 locations, is well into its fifth decade and Don's last name has become synonymous with truck parking.
DAVE DESMOND
Dave joined the family business in 1991 and celebrated his 30th anniversary with the company in 2021.

A former actor and reporter for the Los Angeles Times and Daily News, Dave now oversees the day-to-day operations of Desmond's with the intention of continuing the tradition of excellence established by his father.
KATHY ROMAN
Burbank Office and Accounts Manager

Kathy joined Desmond's in 2010 and is most likely the first voice you hear when calling us. She manages the office at our flagship location in Burbank and is responsible for handling all customer accounts.
RICARDO CASTRO
​Lakeview Terrace Site Manager

Ricardo joined the Desmond's team in 1995 and has managed our Lakeview Terrace facility since its opening in 2000. He manages the office, handles new accounts and oversees our security force for the location.
DAVIS DESMOND
Burbank Assistant Operations Manager
Davis grew up on Desmond's lots and officially joined the team in 2019. As our Assistant Operations Manager, Davis has a wide range of responsibilities, including handling compliance issues.
